Marled Winter

Hi! Hello! It’s been a while. I’m back to posting and I’m bringing you one of my favourite looks this Winter.

 

During the Winter, it’s easy to get into an outfit routine that’s just comfortable and easy. It’s hard waking up in the mornings when it’s cold and dark, and all you want to do is stay home under the blankets! I’m a culprit of that and this Winter, I’m trying to break myself out of that with incorporating more colours, textures and statement pieces into my Winter wardrobe.

 

I lead different versions of my life everyday, each requiring my full attention. I’m a full-time student, performer, and blogger with lots of things in between and during the Winter, I don’t want to sacrifice my style for my comfort or for the demanding life I lead. When I was visiting St.John’s, I saw this sweater at Envy and it fitted all my Winter criteria’s. It’s colourful, comfortable, has a statement feel, and is so warm it doesn’t require a lot of layering.

 

One of my other favourite things to do in the Winter, is to add a pair of statement sunglasses to bring some life to a repeated outfit. Sunglasses are by far one of my top picks for accessories, and I’ve been on the hunt for a pair like these for a while. What sold me was the attention to detail on the frames of the glasses and the curved brow bar that adds a little kick to my look.
