October is one of my favourite months of the year, there’s so many things going on. I rely more on skincare products as the months get colder and darker earlier, and I’m rounding up my favourite beauty products for this month.
Lush Cosmetics Breath of Fresh Air Toner Water

I’m not a morning person, and I don’t claim to be one, but I’ve been using this spray mist from Lush to make the mornings that much better. Over the month of October, I’ve incorporated the mist into my skincare routine by using this after my micellar water for a refreshing pick me up. A couple spritz of the mist that has sea water, aloe vera gel and rose absolute soothes, cools and hydrates my skin for the day.
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel

I wish I had discovered The Body Shop’s range of Drops of Youth sooner! The line delivers relief to dry skin by incorporating plant stem cells to rid your skin of dead skin cells and pollutants from your pores. The Drops of Youth Liquid Peel is a thick consistency, just apply a small amount to the dry areas of your face, rub it in and you can feel the dead skin cells rub off. This is a must buy to exfoliate your skin. Buy it now, and thank me later!
Lush Cosmetics Boom! Toothy Tabs

We all know how much coffee I drink, and as much as I love it I hate the stains that it leaves behind. I’ve tried professional whitening kits, to drugstore whitening methods and they just plain hurt my teeth. Bring in Lush’s Toothy Tabs! This variation of teeth whitening worked for me without the pain (and they have a slight coke aftertaste). I took some of these with me on my travels in October, and they were the perfect addition to my in-flight beauty bag. If you’ve tried whitening products but have found them painful, try this product from Lush- you’ll end up with it in your beauty bag.
Saje Wellness Quick Study Mental Alertness Mist

I was a little skeptical of trying this product at first, but now I keep it on my desk at all times. When I have a busier day, the weather is gloomy, or coffee just isn’t cutting it for me (what?), I spritz this on my face a couple of times and inhale. It’s an instant pick me up, and it really does help you focus. Pick this product up if you have trouble focusing on school work, office work, or anything in between.
Lush Cosmetics Enchanted Eye Cream

Over the month of October, I’ve been stepping up my skincare routine since it’s starting to get colder and I’ve been getting busier with work across the board. At night, I’ve been applying this eye cream from Lush to give my eyes some T.L.C from looking at screens all day. It’s a thin liquid that you pat around your eyes and let it soak in overnight, you can even use this product during the day because it’s not a heavy consistency. One of the main ingredients in this product is cold-pressed organic almond oil- the benefit of using a cold-pressed ingredient is that it keeps in a lot of its original nutrients. I’ve felt and seen a difference after applying this product almost every night for a month.
