The past week has been BUSY and so rewarding getting back into the blogging world, and scheduling that world. It’s something that I love having creative freedom with, and creating content that I know you’ll love.
For some time, I’ve gotten requests on where I curate the pieces in my closet. I love finding unique, quality pieces that can speak for me and that also allow me to look put together in a hurry.

Lately, I’ve been finding some great pieces at Anthropologie; I’ve had a love affair with them for years and always find great pieces. Anthropologie is a great brand, because they curate local collections with a unique story behind them and even more unique pieces. They also create their own labels with the wanting to a creative-minded women to look like herself and not the masses- a similar concept that goes into the making of local brands.
My biggest suggestion to you (aside from shopping local), look for brands that curate collections instead of mass producing them (I’m looking at you Forever 21). The level of quality is higher and the attention to detail is better, and adds a little something extra to your closet. The great thing about fashion houses like Anthropologie, is the accessibility that comes with it. It allows you to discover brands you wouldn’t have otherwise, and even if you’re a budget-queen you can still enjoy pieces from their expansive collections.

Remember my post last week about plus-size fashion? Fashion houses like Anthropologie, use thoughtful design processes for how the garment will fit on the body. Another reason why you should consider leaving fast-fashion behind!
Working a piece into your closet that has a print or mixed textures can really live in your closet for a long time and you’d be surprised at how easy it is to style the piece through different areas of your life.
